 contemplating on coming back to lj (all your fault ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) bagsofcats) blogger is boring and i can't lock my posts. i want to know who reads my blog... hahahhaha im so anal. the only thing that's actually stopping me from hopping back is the sidebar don't the layout feel really empty without a sidebar?

| Bon Odori '09 |

Still recovering from Bon Odori =/ Had a high fever right after getting back, and started having runny nose and cough due to all the dust in the air. Of course, my body is aching all over =( Had quite a few bad experiences this year which was totally off putting, but we managed to compensate all that by bumping into cute japanese guys~
The bad experiences :
1. CRAZY STALKING PHOTOGRAHERS!! Honestly, would it hurt to at least ask permission to snap pictures rather than sneaking up from behind and snapping away, WHILE WE ARE STILL EATING?! That was just down-right rude! and we had quite a few of that. There was even a dude who attempted to get our emails and FB acc.
2. The amount of dust in the air =_= You could practically see all the dust particles...hence the coughing, wheezing & sore throat. =(
3. Hello ladies, which part of NO HEELS ALLOWED do you not understand?! I swear, each year, they get even more bimbo along with the flaunting of stilettos. >(
4. SCREAMING NUISANCES. Me & Zhi Wen went dancing for a while and by the end of the first song, the whole hoard of youngsters behind us started screaming like crazy. It was literally like a football screaming match!! and it was practically in your ear!!! We then went over to the other side, but could still hear them =_= Why can't you kids respect the fact that you're at a very symbolic japanese festival and try to at least practice a bit of decency?!
The pretty damn GOOD experiences :
1. Being mistaken for a japanese BY a japanese~ *hearts* and it was by a cute japanese guy XD
2. Same cute japanese guy wanted pictures of us, and I actually managed to start a conversation in japanese with them(2 of them)~ plus, I haven't spoken to a japanese in a long time, so I was nervous as hell! Upon asking, they've been in M'sia for bout 3 years, studying english at Sunway~~~~ (Current Mision : Transfer to Sunway campus!!! XD XD HAHA)
3. I got to meet up with everyone I had planned to meet with that night~ *hearts*
4. Got to eat MACCHA ICE CREAM and YAKISOBA~ though the yakisoba tasted dreadful, but at least I got to satisfy the craving XD

OKay..so i messed up the setting for my camera and my camera ended up taking pictures in widescreen mode.X_X. i only realised this like 3/4 into the event. orz. so dont mind the horrible cropping.

Went to my aunt's housewarming kenduri instead. Heck... like I can sneak out on this. XO. But yeah... big house. Can't say much on that aside... it's still a bit ulu.
I dunno... aside from molesting cousins and nieces, and eat, and randomly playing KOF on ps1...
There's nothing much to do. Not blaming this on the part that I am anti-social all this time... but well, it's not like we have anything interesting to talk on either.
SIGH...
Yeah, felt so bored I felt like Rider-fantoing all of the cars on sight...

...is that every time I come back, I end up with something to bring back. Today I was given enough food to last me 2-3 dinners o-orz.
It's not that I don't like getting stuff, it's just well, feeling guilty. If it's just say, a drink or something, I don't mind (I can be a shameless freeloader, but I WILL MAKE IT UP TO YOU SOMEHOW...remind me to when I come back to Malaysia, mistressnaoko ESPECIALLY), but several meals is...orz. And it's home-cooked too, which makes it even more orz because she probably kinda made more so that I could bring back home (this was from the leftovers of dinner. Dinner was awesome, seriously).
OTL.
tl;dr dynast_harmonia is an easily guilt-tripped person ahsdlukhudkse. Sadly, this meal's also the most meat-filled meal that I've eaten in the past week or so ahahahahaha. Everything else this week has been..carrots, potatoes and um. Crackers and toast? A bit of rice.
I'm a cheapskate, that much I don't deny.
Also, on the totally opposite end of this spendthrift thing that I've got going: guys, is it worth going for Manifest? Chances are that I'll only be going for a day, and even so, there's no guarantee that I'll be spending money there (since I'm going back for CF or at least, expect to be going back for it, unless I'm getting reeaaaal good merch, I won't spend money. See cheapskate statement). Is it worth the effort and money to go in? Or should I just skip and um. Wait for Animania next year. And save money, duh.

Notes: Hikaru used to be my least favorite host boy, but he's really grown on me as I've seen how he's changed throughout the series. This is an attempt at 1st person, and though it was fun as a writing exercise, I also learned that he and I have some things in common.

Results are out- subjects that I thought I would do horribly in ended up with semi-decent results. I'm not going to complain about that- I'm not worried about those.
What I'm worried (or more of miffed) about is the fact that I only got a pass for Thermo. I'm not usually one who goes around boasting, but um, seriously? I was expecting a Distinction/High Distinction. My continuous assessment results were pretty high, and I was (as far as I can remember) very confident on my answers in the paper itself.
...I'm thinking of asking for a result review.
If I can't find anything on Monash's results appeals online tonight, I think I may just go to campus tomorrow just to ask for one. But...I'm also terrified that it'll cost me like...AUD 300 or something and what happens if it turns out that they go "hay we got the review of your results back and lol you sucked". RM 900 is a lot of money, guys. You could buy several things with that. Feed a few families for a month.

I'm not gonna talk about all the sheetz stuff about Daicon cuz everyone can read it at other ppl's blog(s). Had a lot of fun working with the KKNM people and it was real fun playing Jyanken with booth customers! Thanks to slay_x that intro to me, bunny, alicia and derubean the job. Most of all I'm somehow very happy to cosplay again hahaha....some people were surprised I was at the event lawl. Have I been missing for so long TTATT;;;;
There were hiccups and last minute rush to get wig and stuff because of costume miscalculation but we managed :D
